Architecture & Preservation
Crescent Heights invests in world-class architectural talent and visionary design that will stand the test of time.
Whether creating a newly envisioned vertical village or completing a historic renovation, we honor the complexion of each city and use local inspiration, authentic textures and materials to reflect the provenance of each project.
Strategic collaborations with highly acclaimed architectural firms, including Rafael Viñoly, KPF, ODA, Gensler, Arquitectonica, Stanley Saitowitz, and Handel Architects have made it possible for us to create award-winning buildings that redefine the skylines of America's biggest cities.
Crescent Heights has a long history of preserving multiple historic landmarks. We recognize the tangible ways in which buildings connect us with our past and provide inspiration for the future. Crescent Heights has restored multiple properties in South Beach's Art Deco district and pioneered the landmarking and renovation of historic office buildings on Wall Street into apartments. We have also landmarked an iconic concert venue, the Hollywood Palladium, while adding new residences and improving public spaces with pedestrian passages and community-friendly retail. At 10 South Van Ness in San Francisco, we are honoring the history of the legendary Fillmore West, while modernizing the structure and adding beauty, access and value to the neighborhood.
"Crescent Heights is one of these very rare developers that have super high design qualities and functionally have been very responsive to each community and to each market. It's a fun group to work with."

"Viewed at city scale, NEMA is an instant landmark that serves as a skyline bookend for the 1,136-foot Aon Center on Grant Park’s north end."
- Blair Kamin, Architectural Critic, Chicago Tribune
